What to Expect During the Blue Ribbon Contractor Approval Process

At Blue Ribbon, we are committed to protecting both homeowners and the professionals we recommend. For that reason, membership is not automatic and all applicants go through a review and approval process.

Our goal is not simply to build a directory of contractors. Our goal is to build a trusted network of professionals who share our commitment to quality workmanship, communication, accountability, and customer service.

The Approval Process

Submit a short initial application so we can learn more about your company.
Blue Ribbon reviews your application to determine whether your services align with our homeowner needs and company standards.
Blue Ribbon may conduct a job site visit to observe workmanship, professionalism, organization, and overall customer experience.
Contractors selected to move forward will be invited to complete the final application and provide supporting documentation.
Required documentation may include proof of insurance, licenses (when applicable), W-9, references, certifications, and project photos.
Blue Ribbon will verify submitted information before making a final membership decision.
Approved contractors will complete onboarding and receive access to Blue Ribbon programs, referrals, training opportunities, and marketing resources.
